CodeAI
At CodeAI, there’s one in-house copywriter: me. In my time here, I’ve helped launch new video series, carried the brand through its shift from Code.org to CodeAI, and found a way to make teacher newsletters not boring. Every piece below was concepted and executed by me and my AD partner.
Next in AI Education
Policy conversations about AI in schools usually live in dense strategy decks or thin news hits. This series finds the human stakes in between, for an audience that includes superintendents, teachers, and parents.

The Urgent Need for Teacher Training
Teachers are being asked to prepare students for an AI-shaped world without the training to do it. This conversation is about what's blocking that preparation, and what happens to students if we don't fix it.

Role: Shaped the questions and story arc from a strategist’s technical brief, directed the narrative on set, edited the final cut, built the web page, wrote the social and newsletter copy.
Short videos, real people in CS and AI. Same shape every time: where they started, what changed, where they landed. We borrowed the popular If/Then framing and used it share stories of how one CS or AI class can change a person’s life.
Role: Pre-interviews, question curation, finding each interviewee’s story arc, directing on set, then the edit, final cut, and copy for every version it runs in.
ISTELive 26
A four-day teacher tech conference. Every format had to carry the same message: banners, one-pagers, email, social, and an in-person experience for educators.
The Experience
Teachers met real students first, short videos like “Meet Sierra,” a student who needed to understand past the surface. Then the booth turned the question back on them: which student changed everything for you? An archetype quiz followed, sorting them into one of four teacher types. Each paired with its own call to action and curriculum for where to start with AI education.
Teacher responses were displayed on the exterior LED screen along with results for where participants were sorted.
Deliverables included: paid social across Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, built for three different audiences; A full email run before, during, and after the event; banners; one-pagers.
Role: Led conference materials end to end: booth banners, one-pagers, staff talking points, paid social, the booth experience, and the email series.
And everything in between: Website copy, teacher newsletters, onboarding emails, banner updates, conference one-pagers. The unglamorous stuff that still has to sound like us, every time. If you really need to see this part… let me know.
